The Analysis Platform for Engineering Drawings

F4 workflow overview drawing with GD&T callouts on an engineering section view

F4 is the ultimate platform for analyzing, understanding, and correcting GD&T in your designs

Built by engineers with experience from

See your part like never before

F4 visualizes your part's datum reference frames and tolerance zones, preserving your design intent and understanding of the drawing

Questions Teams Ask Before Rollout

Straight answers for teams evaluating the platform.

Is F4 a CAD System or a PLM?

Neither! F4 is an on-device hardware platform that uses 3D and 2D design files generated from CAD platforms as inputs. F4 accepts files from major CAD platforms: NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO, Fusion 360, & Onshape. F4 itself does not create design files. Teams also use F4 to document relevant data and status for assembly parts and interfaces instead of spreadsheets. Teams use F4 to supplement the design release process before changing part & assembly maturity in their PLM.

Who Should Use F4?

Any industrial team that creates or works with engineering drawings should use F4! Industrial teams use F4 to avoid the risk of engineers creating and releasing non-compliant drawings. Using F4 also avoids the risk of non-design stakeholders like manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams of misinterpreting drawings. Industrial teams use F4 to get all stakeholders aligned to avoid costly scrap, rework, and wasted time.

What About Defense and Aerospace Programs?

Yes, F4 is able to support aerospace and defense organizations. Our DDTC and BIS compliance processes are guided by specialized export-control legal counsel to ensure we can appropriately manage defense- and aerospace-related work. F4 also maintains the necessary certifications and licenses required to operate within highly regulated industries.

How Does F4 Approach Security and Compliance?

F4 Industries is committed to upholding the highest standards of data protection, privacy, and intellectual property security. Our platform is built for enterprise use, engineered specifically to meet the needs of industrial teams, and operates locally on-device to ensure maximum control over sensitive information. We also support two-factor authentication (2FA) for secure access and integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise security frameworks. Our team partners closely with customer security and compliance groups before onboarding to ensure adherence to all relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
